21 September 2006 Dominica in Worldwide Radioteletype Contest

Karl J79DL (N1DL) and George J79MD (W4LFK) represented Dominica in the CQ WW RTTY Contest operating from Wotten Waven. They used the special call sign J7R.

15 Jan 2005 FAIRS visit

FAIRS directors David and Gaynell Larsen with associate Dee Dannewitz, made an early 2005 visit to Dominica. In addition to visits with friends and the many radio contacts made during their stay, another delivery of medication was made to the hospital,  work was done to benefit the children and youth of the community and the Message of the Gospel was presented to many.

24 April 2005 Maintenance visit to Morne au Diable Repeater

Clem J73CI, Sharmaine J73SHM, Charlotte and others visited the J73MAD repeater site on Morne au Diable.
They cut the vegetation around the solar panels, tightened the antenna mounting and refilled the batteries

16 May 2005 Installation of remote base at Morne Haut Jean

Several clubmembers visited the site and installed a new remote base on the mountain to cover the western part of the island. The site will be linked on UHF to the hub on Morne Anglais.

21 May 2005 Installation visit to Morne Fraser

A workgroup including Raymond J73RJ, Joseph J73JT, Clem J73CI and others installed a new remote base on Morne Fraser. They brought batteries, solar controller, radio and waterproof container up and cleared the area. The remote base links also on UHF to the hub on Morne Anglais.

3 June 2005 Added new emergency frequencies

On the emergency contacts page added the two newly agreed emergency frequencies 7.210 and 3.805 MHz agreed to at the June 2 meeting..
